In 1976, Dan Fisher was general superintendent for a Billings contractor. With three daughters to put through college, he told his wife, Shirley, that if he was going to work that hard, he was going in business for himself. Shirley agreed, and history was made. The couple was dedicated to building a company that prided itself on a high standard of excellence.

Since those first days of vision and building, the company has grown from a small family operation into a multi-million dollar business. At Fisher, we credit our growth to the demand of quality we place on ourselves. It is our practice – and a trademark of our company – to hire only those craftsmen and subcontractors who have a successful record of being the best in their field. Over the years, that is what has enabled us to accept the challenging, large and complex projects that are now central elements in our building portfolio.

Our dedication to quality, honesty, and fairness continues with the ownership of long-time employees Ed & Irene Morgan, Jim Berve, and Brent Sumner. The company was purchased by the Morgans, Berves and Sumners in 2001, allowing Dan & Shirley Fisher to begin a much-deserved retirement.
